services
Here at Mail Construction, we provide quality machinery to support clients in carrying out groundworks and construction projects. Our plant hire service is available in Luton, Harpenden, St Albans and the surrounding areas. Whether you are planning a garden paving project or a new driveway installation, we have suitable machines for the job.
Operated and non-operated plant hire is available and includes:
Also known as compact excavators, mini-excavators are large pieces of equipment that are used for digging and should always be operated by a qualified worker. Our plant includes 0.9 (780mm wide), 1.7, 3.5, 5 and 8 tonne excavators. They are most suitable for small-to-medium-scale construction projects, especially where there is not much space for equipment.
Mini-excavators are the ideal option for groundworks and excavation in small areas. They are renowned for their power and speed, safe to operate, and these machines help us produce quality results in confined spaces.
We also have 13 and 20-tonne excavators, which are better suited to large-scale construction projects. If you are planning to redesign your landscape or install a new driveway in Luton, Harpenden, St Albans or the surrounding areas, our plant hire services are the perfect choice.
We provide 13-tonne excavators with optimal arm reach and depth function, which is ideal for bulk excavation covering large areas.
Our 20-tonne excavators are ideal for working on challenging terrain. They deliver a high level of productivity by lifting heavy loads and digging to significant depths.
Mail Construction also provides 790mm wide barrow dumpers, which are used to transport and remove building materials and debris during excavations and small hardstanding or landscaping projects. The narrow width of these dumpers means they fit through most gates and pathways so accessibility shouldn’t be an issue.
Our 1-tonne dumpers are a larger piece of equipment that is used to transport bulk loads of materials to and from the site. This ensures both the supply and removal of materials and debris are completed safely and efficiently.
At Mail Construction we cover all aspects of hard landscaping, so we also provide equipment like breakers, which are used to break apart and remove concrete before a repair or replacement is carried out.
